About Dialysis Services at Atrium Health Navicent:

The Nurse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and strategic oversight of dialysis operations at:

  1. Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center (Macon, GA) – Inpatient dialysis services, including ICU, progressive care, and Med/Surg units
  2. Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA) – Inpatient and outpatient dialysis care
  3. Atrium Health Navicent Peach (Byron, GA) – Outpatient dialysis treatment

Together, these programs deliver:

  • Acute and chronic hemodialysis
  • Peritoneal dialysis
  • Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clinical leadership for dialysis operations across all three sites
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of RNs, dialysis technicians, and support staff
  • Collaborate with nephrologists and healthcare partners to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission, hospital policy)
  • Drive consistency in clinical practices, performance improvement, and patient outcomes
  • Oversee budgets, staffing, and education initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of leadership for regional dialysis strategy and service line growth
 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Licensure: Active Georgia RN license (or compact state)
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of direct patient care experience
    • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience, preferably in dialysis or nephrology
    • Experience managing multiple sites or service lines preferred
  • Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and dialysis-related certification preferred
