Overview

Job Summary

Leads the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of virtual clinical services throughout the care continuum, across the System. Facilitates key clinical service line development, to include improved clinical efficiencies and outcomes, enhanced reputation of facilities and hardwire referral protocols to facilities to gain market share growth. Serves on system strategy functions/groups as virtual health leaders, aligning to key workstreams and strategies.



Essential Functions

  • Partners with system, market, and service line leaders to identify, prioritize, and develop virtual services in alignment with system strategy
  • Leads cross functional system resource teams to ensure optimal experience for providers and patients utilizing virtual services and platforms
  • Evaluates program performance and identifies opportunities for financial and operational efficiencies
  • Establishes performance improvement efforts to optimize the experience for providers and patients
  • Identifies and evaluates emerging models of care
  • Supports legislative efforts for the advancement of virtual health
  • Ensures adherence to and optimization of the virtual health governance and leadership structure
  • Partners with leaders as an advisor regarding virtual strategies for the advancement of service line strategy
  • Communicates effectively with key clinical and administrative partners to develop cooperative relationships.
  • Leads virtual health integration efforts with new partners

Physical Requirements

Work consistently requires walking, standing, and sitting. Works primarily in office setting. Requires some lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Requires ability to move about medical centers and to attend local, regional, and national meetings. Must have own reliable transportation for frequent travel to regional facilities.



Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. 5 years’ experience required.
