Position Highlights: 

  • Shifts: Various schedules available; Full time (4, 10-hour shifts) week days or evenings or PRN. 
  • Sign-On Bonus: This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for new hires ($10,000 for new Technologist graduates).
  • Relocation Assistance: $3,000 in relocation expenses for qualified applicants.
  • Location: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC - Visit Winston-Salem, NC

What You Will Need:

  • Associate’s Degree from an approved school of Radiologic or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology or an ARRT/RCIS graduate from a Cardiovascular Interventional Training Program
  • 2 years of work experience in Interventional Radiology or similar modality
  • Registered & Certified by ARRT or RCIS Required
  • Valid BLS Provider Certification

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Promote a collaborative work setting while adhering to hospital standards and emphasizing communication, teamwork, and relationships.
  • Ensure emergency equipment readiness and promptly responds to potential crises; Conducts routine equipment checks to minimize downtime – reports any malfunctions as necessary.
  • Perform procedures, tests, and exams with a comprehensive understanding of responsibilities; Offers valuable education and consultation while maintaining credentials through CEs and required competencies.
  • Prioritize patient needs and service excellence through thorough evaluation of patient data; Coordinates patient care professionally, maintaining accurate records and files; Delivers age and developmentally appropriate care based on standards of care.
  • Provides 24/7 coverage for emergency services, including on-call and late schedules.
