Technologist Extender

Entry level healthcare position providing excellence in patient care and assisting our top-notch Technologists in the Interventional Radiology Department.

What You'll Do:

Assists technologists in preparing patient for CT procedure(s) and room clean up to effectively maintain workflow.   Assists with restocking of examination rooms with supplies necessary for patient care and CT procedure(s). Monitors/coordinates patient transportation to CT rooms, patient floors, and ED areas and maintains appropriate records/documentation that contributes to the efficiency of the departmental operations. Contributes to the overall quality of service by effectively transporting patients and administering to their needs. 

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Work on an as needed basis (PRN) to fill in for vacations, leave of absence, etc.
• Location: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC  

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 
• Patient care experience preferred.
