Overview

Job Summary:
Analyzes cross-department workflows and recommends system optimizations. Configures, tests, and implements software upgrades while ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborates with managers, technical leads, and various teams to implement new projects effectively. Focuses on delivering cutting-edge technology to meet customer and patient needs.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
  • Three years of relevant configuration/programming experience.
  • Healthcare or related experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Epic certification or applicable system training within 6 months of hire.

Essential Functions:

  1. Coordinates limited-scope projects and maintains customer expectations.
  2. Analyzes workflows and translates them into system configurations.
  3. Collects and documents specifications for new or revised functionality.
  4. Performs programming/scripting for assigned projects.
  5. Implements and tests system updates and changes with users.
  6. Creates reports using reporting tools and SQL.
  7. Extracts and migrates data between systems.
  8. Tests and validates system configurations to ensure functionality.
  9. Serves as a liaison between end users and vendors.
  10. Troubleshoots user issues and provides support.
  11. Works with vendors to tailor systems for organizational needs.
  12. Updates management on project progress and completes tasks on time.
  13. Follows change, problem, and incident processes.
  14. Applies project management principles and provides on-call support when needed.
  15. Assists trainers as required.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server, MS Office, and related platforms.
  • Effective problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of security concepts, including user permissions.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced with unpredictable situations and interruptions.
  • Occasionally long or irregular hours.
  • Some travel required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Occasional bending, reaching, and handling objects.
