About the Medical Observation Unit (MOU)
The Medical Observation Unit (MOU) is a 16-bed specialized unit dedicated to caring for patients with diverse diagnoses requiring short-term observation of up to 23 hours. This fast-paced environment offers an excellent opportunity to develop a broad skill set while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. The MOU is ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic settings and enjoy collaborating across disciplines to provide exceptional care.

What You’ll Do
As an RN in the Medical Observation Unit, you will:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to patients with various conditions requiring observation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition with critical thinking and clinical expertise.
• Foster a culture of safety, respect, and excellence within the unit.

What You’ll Need

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current valid Georgia nursing license or eNLC nursing license.
• At least one (1) year of nursing experience.
