Overview
Join our team as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) with Physical Medicine and Rehab on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit where we manage complex medical and surgical patients as they recover after hospitalization. Our patients receive intensive PT, OT and Speech therapy in an inpatient setting working to achieve maximal independence and mobility after a wide variety of illnesses and trauma including acquired brain injury, strokes, spinal cord injury, burns, multi-trauma, and other significant debilities. Thoughtful clinical judgement, excellent communication skill, and your prior experience will all be very important as you round daily on these patients, provide medical updates to patients and their families, manage medication changes, and manage admissions, discharges, and progress notes in collaboration with your supervising Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation MD. Willingness to learn and comfortably communicate with multiple subspecialties is vital. We are a multidisciplinary team who works closely together with social work and therapy staff in the best interest of our patients. This is a full time, NON surgical role with no call or holidays.
Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical practice.
