Job Summary
Under the supervision of a board-certified Medical Physicist, the teammate delivers assistive medical physics services to all internal and external customers utilizing best practices, nationally recognized standards, and regulations in a manner that ensures the highest level of safety, quality patient care, and regulatory compliance.
Essential Functions
General hospital environment with exposure to radiation, chemicals, pathogens, and patient body fluids. Must be able to lift, push and pull, in excess of 100 lbs. Frequent walking, standing, stooping and reaching during and for quality assurance procedures. Manual dexterity required: Heavy concentration with computers.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Radiation Therapy, or related field. Use of computer systems and applications including proficient use of MS Excel and Word. Experience with coding and/or programming highly desired.
