Detailed Shift and Schedule: This position is a every weekend position with days during the week. Weekends consist of 12 hour shifts and the days during the week consist of 8 hour shifts. This The shift consists of operating the Shuttle moving patients, visitors, and employees across the campus. This position also calls for driving Wheelchair Vans moving Hospital Patients to Rehab, Dr. Appointments, to their homes, and Hospital to Hospital Transfers.

Overview
Job Summary
Extensive driving involved with the transportation of visitors, ambulatory patients, out-patients, special events groups, materials, linen and courier items inclusive but not limited to mail, x-rays, labs, physician charts, and others.
Essential Functions
- Maintains vehicle in a neat, clean, and orderly and condition.
- Operates all vehicles in a safe and secure manner including strapping wheelchairs and using seat belts.
- Obeys all traffic and driving laws, and related policies and procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient and resident information.
Must be able to drive for extended periods of time. Must be able to push or pull carts and wheelchairs with loads up to 500 pounds and lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to drive vehicles safely in all types of weather
