Overview
Registered Nurse - Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Call every 6th weekend and 3 weeknights/month
Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. As an RN in our PEDs PACU, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective recovery of pediatric patients following surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia post-surgery.
- Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition of pediatric patients during their recovery period.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and home recovery instructions.
- Ensure a safe and comforting environment for pediatric patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the State of GA
