Affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (AHWFB), Wake Forest Emergency Providers (WFEP) is a nationally recognized, 501c3 non-profit, proudly providing health care for all! We are contracted with select, partner organizations to provide staffing for Hospital Emergency Departments, Free Standing Emergency Departments, and Urgent Cares throughout the North Central and Northwest regions of North Carolina.

This beautiful region of North Carolina has a moderate climate with all four seasons. The Blue Ridge Mountains and Parkway are a 1-2 hour drive to the north and west, and North Carolina's beaches are close enough to enjoy during long weekends. The region is on an upward trajectory that still maintains its Southern roots and small town feel. Although the region is traditionally Southern in its friendliness, it has an international vibe with an array of festivals and a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment options.
