Overview

JOB SUMMARY

Under limited supervision, plans, develops, coordinates, administers and performs several related phases of financial analysis, planning and/or control.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field with two years financial analysis or accounting experience; or, an Associate's degree in Business, Accounting or related field with four years financial analysis or accounting experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Maintains effective liaison with assigned departments and administration for the purpose of identifying, assembling and analyzing financial information.
  2. Reconciles assigned daily deposits, reports and deposit tickets to accurately record cash collections on the general ledger.
  3. Assists in allocations of MSI income and expenses. Uploads data to allocation and actual ledgers that relate to MSI and affect quarterly activity.
  4. Interacts with departmental personnel to determine proper methods and procedures to accomplish job duties.
  5. General ledger accounting for month-end activity, including interfacing collections from IDX, and various journal entries.
  6. Prepares monthly allocations accounting for collections and expenses, including interfaces from Core Connect HR and various allocations per department practice/compensation plans.
  7. Creates reporting from allocations ledger and for doctor, drug and lab departments. Creates various monthly reports using nVision.
  8. Performs various monthly reconciliations.
  9. Maintains IDX dictionaries for activity interfaced into Core Connect.
  10. Reconciles financial reports and reviews for accuracy. Investigates any discrepancies and takes corrective action as necessary.
  11. Develops and recommends implementation of new and revised fiscal management systems and procedures.
  12. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Access
