The Department of Implementation Science at Wake Forest University School of Medicine seeks a mid-career faculty member (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent) to join a growing team of implementation scientists in Charlotte, NC. In partnership with the Department of Surgery and Center for Surgical Outcomes Science, our goal is to accelerate impact-oriented health services, health systems and health care delivery research in partnership with an operational research team. This clinically embedded S\scholar is critical to the realization of an effective aLHS. As our departmental footprint in Implementation Science expands to Charlotte, this candidate will be part of a growing, 19-person department and have clinical colleagues with whom to partner and advance impactful, innovative research.
Candidates who have demonstrated methodological expertise in the areas of implementation science, health services research, health systems science, human factors engineering, economic or program evaluation, pragmatic trials, population health theory and behavior, with a demonstrated commitment to applied surgical research, are of particular interest.
