Overview
The Skilled Maintenance Mechanic performs specialized and routine installation and repair tasks, including preventative maintenance routines.
| The qualified candidate will possess the following: A. Education 1. High school graduate, or equivalent B. Experience 1. Completion of a technical school program or on the job training under a qualified person. 2. Four or more years of varies types of general maintenance work. General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. 3. Skilled in more than two areas of maintenance/engineering. C. Licensure/Certification 1. None. D. Interpersonal requirements 1. Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills. Has a commitment to customer service. 2. Communicates effectively with all applicable customers and age groups. 3. Works effectively toward collaborative relationship with the administrative team and community. 4. Maintains a cooperative working relationship with ancillary departments. |
