Infection Prevention Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infection Prevention Manager to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Infection Prevention Manager will play a key role in developing, implementing, and overseeing the infection prevention and control program to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors. This individual will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to monitor, assess, and prevent healthcare-associated infections while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field (required). 
• Experience: Prefer 5 years of experience in infection prevention and control but will consider candidates with less than 5 years infection prevention experience.
• Certification: Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is required
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of infection prevention principles, microbiology, epidemiology, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CDC, JCAHO).
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret infection data and trends. Ability to educate and mentor staff on infection control practices.
• Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement in patient safety and infection prevention.
