Overview
The Wake Forest Health Network Nephrology - Premier practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nephrologist to join our growing community-based practice in High Point, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with a wide range of kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis management, and electrolyte disorders. Our practice offers access to advanced treatment options, a collaborative team environment, and strong multidisciplinary support. Whether you are an experienced physician or a recent fellow, this position provides the perfect balance of clinical excellence, professional growth, and work-life balance in a welcoming community setting.
Highlights:
- This is a 100% outpatient care role, with full-time providers working 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with no inpatient responsibilities and limited shared on-call coverage.
- Patient Population: Diverse range of patients managing acute and chronic kidney conditions.
- You'll have the advantage of strong and well-established community relationships and excellent administrative support.
Physician Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
- Successful completion of residency and at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
- Board certification in Nephrology from said residency.
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
