Overview

Wake Forest Emergency Providers Urgent Care Locations

As an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider, you will work alongside EM Physicians, other EM APPs, and EM nurses and staff to take care of patients and save lives. Though APPs will collaborate with physicians, autonomy is both encouraged and fostered as our Urgent Care APP model supports. Our EM APPs will learn to manage acute and chronic conditions with increasing independent expertise and are encouraged to practice at the top of their license. Although the focus of this role is primarily clinical, there will be Career Development opportunities with access to get involved in Education, Administration and Leadership. 

Providers may have a primary location however depending on site location also willing to rotate to provide coverage between Urgent Care centers and/or a Emergency Department as needed within group of hire (commutable distance).

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  • Licensed, or eligible, for North Carolina as an NP or PA.
  • BLS, PALS, ACLS Certifications through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
