What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED General Studies
- Successful completion of a North Carolina Board of Nursing Aide I approved training program/competency evaluation
- Nurse Aide I Registration Division of Facility Services Nurse Aide I Registry
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred: Prior experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer clerical tasks for patient admissions and medical records.
- Ensure confidential, accurate, and timely patient information sharing.
- Manage incoming calls and message transmission.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with the team, patients, and family.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment following procedures.
- Work efficiently and handle stress calmly.
- Perform NA1+4 skills as per facility guidelines.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily activities under RN supervision.
- Complete assigned unit duties and support co-workers when possible.
- Provide age-appropriate patient care per guidelines.
Physical and Behavioral Requirements:
- Lift, carry, and push heavy objects.
- Perform bending, squatting, and standing tasks.
- Use visual acuity for reading and documentation.
- Maintain a sense of smell for safety.
- Utilize a sense of touch to evaluate vital signs.
- Communicate effectively verbally and audibly.
