Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for the ongoing assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of various organization-wide education, orientation, and training activities, primarily focusing on the clinical setting. Functional roles include educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator, change agent, role model, and leader as a professional Registered Nurse. Works closely with Clinical Leads, Department Directors, and Nurse Managers. Facilitates compliance with designated accreditation/ regulatory organizations and standards.
Education, Training, and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing school required.
- Familiarity with CIS applications, MS Office, Internet/Intranet.
- Minimum of two years of work experience in a clinical healthcare setting, one year of leadership experience preferred.
