Provides effective pastoral care and crisis intervention to clients as referred on an on-call basis.

Education Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/Preferred:

  • Bachelors Theology *Required Masters Theology or related field Preferred *One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (400 hours supervised clinical training) required 
  • 2+ Ministry or related experience

Certifications, Licensures and Registrations:

  • Ordination/Recording and/or Endorsement for Ministry as Chaplain required

Experience: 

  • Good pastoral care and crisis intervention skills required 
  • Ability to provide spiritual care to persons from diverse faith and cultural traditions required 
  • Ability to function effectively as a member of multidisciplinary team required 
  • Effective communication skills required 
  • Ability to seek consultation and supervision when needed required. 
  • Effectively provides pastoral care, counseling, and crisis intervention to  clients.
