Position Highlights:

• Primary Focus: Directs the delivery of quality patient care and daily operations for Vascular Labs across the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Market. Responsible for recruiting, training, education, equipment management, IAC accreditation and collaborating with Service Line leadership on implementing strategic initiatives. 
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8a-5p
• Location: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC & High Point Medical Center, High Point, NC

What You Will Do:

• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare team members in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of care.  
• Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services.  
• Collaborates with leadership in recommending enough qualified and competent persons to provide care.  
• Assists in determining the qualifications and competence of department team members who provide patient care services and who are not licensed independent practitioners.   
• Assesses and improves the department's performance and identities unit goals.  
• Provides orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for team members.  
• Provides input into the development of an operating and capital budget to meet patient and departmental needs
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served
• Will limit access to protected health information (PHI) to the information reasonably necessary to do the job.  
• Will share information only on a need to know basis for work purposes.  
• Maintain IAC accreditation.
• Access to verbal, written and electronic PHI for this job has been determined based on job level and job responsibility within the organization.  Computerized access to PHI for this job has been determined as described above and is controlled via user ID and password

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Completion of an accredited program for Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) 
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA required
• 3 years’ progressive management experience to include budget and operational responsibilities preferred. 1 year of healthcare supervisory experience
