Overview
Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a dedicated and skilled OR Nurse to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for OR, a strong clinical background, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of the operating room, including the setup of sterile instruments and equipment.
- Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and conditions before, during, and after surgery.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the State of Georgia
- OR nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
