Supervises various food service areas (sandwich stand, salad bar, grill, etc.) to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations. Implements business practices that align with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center's mission and values. Oversees services and looks for opportunities to grow.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required, with 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Associate's degree preferred.
Certification
- ServSafe certification required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily food service operations, ensuring staff has the resources they need.
- Assist with payroll and cash control functions.
- Identify and address operational issues, informing leadership as needed.
- Supervise staff by delegating tasks, prioritizing activities, and maintaining standards.
- Provide feedback to employees to motivate, coach, and correct.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and hospital policies.
- Maintain a safe working environment by offering safety training and equipment maintenance.
