Overview

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the management of moderate to complex assigned integration programs, strategic projects, enterprise-wide initiatives, and continuous improvement strategies. This role leads in all aspects of projects from initiation to implementation and serves as a liaison between partners, leadership, customers, consultants, and contractors providing leadership to teams with the ability to manage in a matrix environment. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support integration and enterprise leader in facilitation of long-term value creation identification, planning and realization. Maintains and utilizes tracking tools to provide full record of activities, compile data, develop reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Manages multiple projects simultaneously, preparing meeting agendas, capturing meeting notes, preparing presentations for a variety of audiences, and tracking actionable items.
  • Maintains a working knowledge and expertise in use of integration methodologies and tools. Follows Advocate Health’s Integration Management Office best practices, methodologies, templates work instructions and policies.
  • Identifies and manages change effectively and efficiently in a changing environment. Works with team members to utilize change management processes and tools to create plans to support adoptions of changes required by project or initiative.
  • Effectively communicates with teammates to assist with projects as needed transferring information, overall project status, timelines, project progress, and/or difficulties. Monitors schedule for completion of projects. Makes and follows through on commitments with a high sense of accountability, ownership, and integrity.
  • General understanding of enterprise operations with respect to Mission, Vision, and Values. Keeps up to date with Advocate Health structures, decision-making bodies, networks, relationships and environment.
  • Manages meetings, events, symposiums, or initiatives.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrates knowledge of integration methodology, project/program management methods, and analytical tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing complex projects required.
  • Provide ability to build positive, effective relationships, and develop effective cross-functional relationships with senior leaders, clinical and physician leaders, as well as diverse management teams to set and execute performance goals.
  • Processes high levels of emotional intelligence and understanding that cultural obstacles may hinder progress and requires sensitive handling.
  • Ability to manage a high number of high priority workstreams concurrently.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS 

  • This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions. Must have personal transportation to travel to various locations.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Exposed to a normal office environment.

 

            Education:  Bachelor’s degree in business, Health Administration, or Finance. 

Experience:  5 years of experience in program management and/or integration management, strategy, operational and/or management consulting functions.

Schedule Details/Additional Information

Primarily a remote role with the ability to travel to on-site meetings in either the Midwest or Southeast markets as needed. Remote workers can only be considered residing from the following states at this time:  AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY. 

Salary Range: $92,768 - $115,960
