Overview

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Division of Pediatric Genetics is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their team in Charotte, NC.  This role functions primarily in the outpatient setting caring for patients with metabolic disorders with some future opportunity for supporting inpatient consultations.   This multi-disciplinary team consists of 5 geneticists, 1 APP, 8 genetic counselors, 1 metabolic RN, and 2 metabolic dieticians. 

 

Position Highlights include:

  • Monday- Friday 8am-5:00pm
  • No call requirements 
  • Hybrid opportunity, primarily outpatient care of patients with metabolic disorders with some inpatient consultative care
  • 3+ years of pediatric experience is strongly preferred - PA, FNP, PNP-PC/AC

Qualifications: 

Nurse Practitioner- Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. ACNP, AGACNP, AGNP, PNP-PC, or PNP-AC board certification preferred based population served. Physician Assistant- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required; Master's Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
