Overview
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor facilitates daily nursing care to patients 18 years old and older, assists with overall unit compliance with JCAHO standards and collaborates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to best meet patient clinical needs.
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor at Behavioral Health supports the objectives of the Clinical Manager and is responsible for the clinical management and day to day operations of the unit.
- EDUCATION REQUIRED
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- EDUCATION PREFERRED
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- LICENSURES OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license approved by the Georgia Licensing Board for GA locations and Alabama Licensing Board for AL locations
- BLS certification
- LICENSURES OR CERTIFICATIONS PREFERRED
- ACLS certification
- Certification in related specialty
- EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Progressive leadership
- Administrative and clinical competencies
- EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- 2 years of behavioral health experience
