Overview
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. S/he ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner. S/he demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. Coordinates unit activities. In the absence of the Nurse Manager is in charge of the unit and is responsible for smooth running of the unit in accordance with the policies of Medical Center of Peach County.
Specifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: Will consider a newly licensed graduate.
- Certification/License/Registration: Current Georgia state licensure as a BSN/ MSN Registered Nurse. Current BLS required within 30 days of hire.
