Position Highlights:
Position: Licensed Aesthetician
Location: Greensboro
Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 2 days per week 8 hours per day. Thinking about Tuesday and Friday. In Greensboro office.
Job Summary: Under general supervision from a physician, performs skin-care techniques and procedures for clients. Performs related sales and marketing duties.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with one year experience applying skin care procedures.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
- Current license in Aesthetics from the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners.
- Additional related licensure.
Essential Functions:
- Using industry-accepted techniques, applies facials, waxes, peels, and other treatments.
- Perform skin consultations, providing information to patient/client and answering questions.
- Educates clients regarding the benefits/risks of various treatments and products. Educates clients on how to properly use treatments and products and care for their skin.
- Refer patient/clients to the surgeon for surgical procedures.
- Maintains aesthetic equipment in working order.
- Assists in maintaining appropriate supplies by reviewing inventory. May place orders for supplies.
- Assists in marketing efforts. Attends and participates in Best Health presentations, community programs, and other educational presentations. Demonstrates procedures for various presentations.
- Track types of procedures completed, cosmetic sales, and other information as assigned and provide reports to management.
- Stays current on licensing requirements and upgrades. Completes additional training conducted by various medical cosmetics companies.
- Contributes to the operations of the clinic by providing input into new and existing services and marketing the unit.
- Performs other treatments and techniques as required by position and allowed by appropriate licensing boards.
- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
