What You'll Do: Responsible for development, coordination, and management of projects and activities within the Living Donor Coach Program, to include project evaluation plans, timelines, and operational planning in support of key initiatives to provide support to the Living Donor Kidney Transplant Program. Provide support and oversight for the Social Media Platforms related to the Wake Forest Living Donor and Abdominal Organ Transplant Programs. Responsible for the education of Transplant Patients and Donor Champions related to seeking a Live Donor. Works collaboratively with a team of Physicians, Transplant Coordinators, Administrative Staff, and Health System counterparts to coordinate efforts and focus support where needed to improve identification of potential living kidney donors and to enhance living donor kidney transplant rates. Identify areas in need of improvement and supports planning and evaluation efforts tailored to address the needs of the live donation program. Creates customized reporting focused on assessing outcome metrics and growth of the donor champion and live donor programs. Assists in coordination of plans/events and interfaces with various teams in support of the creation of educational material as well as coordinating classes and lesson plans. Develops a nurturing program to assist patients and Donor Coaches on their endeavors to create a platform for communication based on the needs of the transplant recipient during their search for live donors.
- Meet with patients undergoing evaluation for kidney transplantation along with family and potential donor champions in person and via virtual education sessions to provide education regarding living organ donation and effective methods to seek potential live donors. (30%)
- Follow-up communication with patients and donor champions to discuss their current activities aimed at seeking a living donor and providing related feedback. (20%)
- Coordinates activities associated with the Donor Coach program. Collaborates with the medical team on goals, purpose, and mission of program. (10%)
- Develops new protocols to assist patients and Donor Champions with their platforms for communication with their intended audience and provide follow-up and feedback. (10%)
- Provide metrics to Transplant and medical leadership on the success of the program as evidenced by those who had a successful live donor transplant. (10%)
- Utilizes knowledge, experience, and education to identify improvement activities. Appropriately communicates this information to Director(s) and participates, as necessary, on multidisciplinary process improvement teams/entities to address, identify and resolve issues or conflicts as they arise. (10%)
- Attends required and recommended project meetings. (5%)

- Demonstrates competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities in a manner that meets the age-specific and developmental needs of patients served by the department.
- Appropriately adapts assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
- Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Three years’ experience in project management, program management development, administration or supervisory experience required.
- Experience in project coordination, marketing and social media platforms, data analysis, reporting, and planning is preferred.
- Must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with public contacts, establish, and maintain effective working relationships and be highly adaptable to high-paced clinical environment.

- Must be thorough and accurate in compiling, tracking, and reporting program information to the designated supervisor. Ensures that all information provided is current, technically complete, and statistically valid. Information provided must also support Atrium mission, vision, and values.
- Must have high level of computer literacy/skills to include the use of commonly used programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram strongly preferred.
- Spanish fluency desirable.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Normal working conditions in an office environment.
- Travel among the Wake Market sites may be involved.
