Overview
Wellness Coordinator
What you will do:
Designs, implements, and coordinates health and wellness programs/activities. Requires experience in developing exercise protocols for special populations (to include the Cancer WellFit program) and extensive knowledge of chronic disease progression and the comorbidities associated. Develops relationships and works directly with healthcare providers to facilitate program referrals and promote programs. Inspire health and well-being while modeling a commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Encourage and educate teammates on participation in LiveWell (teammate/employee) opportunities and challenges. Facilities communications, social functions and engagement for the senior adult population membership. Provides leadership and support to all health and wellness events. Provides administrative support to the admin team for all Wellness Services.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Public Health or other health related degree or extensive experience in a health position.
- Basic Life Support - CPR
