Overview
Surgical Associate - PACU (Weekend Days)
What you will do:
- Provides inter‑operative and intra‑operative support for the surgical team
- Competent in sheath pulling
- Cleaning the outlying and internal structure of the Surgery Center
- Assists the perioperative nurse in providing patient care including sheath pulling
- Serves a resource person, acts as a preceptor for new STA I's
- Transports patient to and from surgery in a timely manner
- Transports specimens to the lab
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous patient care experience preferred
- Be able to work four 10 hours weekend day shifts
