Registered Nurse (RN) | PACU (Recovery Room) | Days - WOW (work on weekend)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Recovery Room (PACU) team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from anesthesia and surgery to recovery. You will monitor patients' vital signs, manage pain, and ensure a smooth recovery process while maintaining a calm and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, level of consciousness, and overall recovery status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families regarding post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records (EHR).
• Respond promptly to any changes in patients' conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized recovery area.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
