Overview
Research nurse position working with adult solid tumor oncology clinical trials. Rewarding career that helps navigate patients through the clinical trial process while working closely with multiple departments to ensure trial related activities are completed and data obtained to help in our goal to provide oncology patients with best care. Interest in Neuro-oncology or Head and Neck Cancers preferred but nor required. Neuro-oncology & Head and Neck Cancers as primary focus with coverage in other disease areas as needed. The primary work location is Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) Morehead with potential to provide coverage across all LCI Regional locations. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm with no weekends or holidays.

Job Summary
Assists with the coordination of clinical, regulatory, business, and other research- related activities and documentation for clinical trials conducted by the Levine Cancer Institute, following industry standards and applicable regulations including FDA/OHRP guidances, GCP and ICH.
Essential Functions
Education, Experience and Certifications
Must hold a valid North Carolina or South Carolina (as applicable) Board of Nursing license. Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, RN) required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), or higher, preferred. CPR certification required. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, especially cancer care and/or clinical research. Certification in clinical research (SoCRA, ACRP, RAPS, etc.) preferred.
