Overview

Atrium Health Levine Children's Davidson Pediatrics is looking for a full time (LPN/CMA/RMA) to join our team. The practice has 3 pediatric physicians with a 4th provider starting in the fall. Davidson Pediatrics has been a source of excellent pediatric care in the Lake Norman area for nearly 50 years. We are open Monday through Friday 8am- 5pm and see same day sick appointments, well-child check-ups, immunizations, and school and sports physicals.
We are seeking a candidate that will be comfortable and skilled while working in the lab and completing nurse visits. A few examples of skills preferred are venipuncture, POC testing, and administering injections.
Job Summary
Functions in the physician office or ambulatory care practice to provide nursing services in an office setting. Works as part of a care team to improve the execution of quality requirements, increase throughput, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall patient experience.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Possible exposure to communicable diseases. Must speak, read, and write Basic English fluently. Intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Manual finger dexterity.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice in NC or SC (dependent on the practice's physical location) required. Graduate of an Accredited School of practical nursing required. Previous medical office experience preferred. BLS required per policy guidelines.
