Overview
As an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider, you will work alongside EM Physicians, other EM APPs, and EM nurses and staff to take care of patients and save lives. Though APPs in this role will collaborate with and share all patients with physicians, autonomy is both encouraged and fostered. Our EM APPs will learn to manage acute and chronic conditions with increasing independent expertise and are encouraged to practice at the top of their license. Although the focus of this role is primarily clinical, there will be Career Development opportunities with access to get involved in Education, Administration and Leadership.

About Us:
The Emergency Department at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center that provides excellent emergency healthcare for all types of injuries and illnesses, from life-threatening conditions such as heart attacks or strokes to flu and viral illnesses. Collaborating with a team of more than 30 board-certified emergency physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, experienced emergency nurses, sexual assault nurse examiners, forensic nurse examiners, social workers, case managers and other specially trained staff.
