CT Technologist Extender, Weekend Nights

Overview

Entry level healthcare position providing excellence in patient care and assisting our top-notch CT Technologists on weekend evenings.

Major Duties:

Assists technologists in preparing patient for CT procedure(s) and room clean up to effectively maintain workflow.   Oversees scheduling (calling/answering phone and facilitating workflow.   Monitors/coordinates patient transportation to CT rooms, patient floors, and ED areas.  Maintains appropriate records/documentation for the efficiency of the departmental operations. Contributes to the overall quality of service by effectively transporting patients and administering to their needs, including using patient lifts/slide boards. Assists with restocking of examination rooms with supplies necessary for patient care and CT procedure(s).

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday; 7p-7:30a (36 hours per week)
• Location: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC  

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 
• Current CPR certification
• Patient care experience preferred.
