As a Mammography Technologist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, you will perform diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures, using age-appropriate techniques and equipment in adherence to industry standards. While demonstrating your knowledge and expertise, your technique should allow for minimal radiation exposure for patients and other healthcare team members.

Position Highlights:
- Shift Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, weekdays
- Locations: Comprehensive Cancer Center and Downtown Health Plaza in Winston-Salem, NC and Clemmons Mammography in Clemmons, NC.
What You Will Need:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT registered in Radiology and Mammography (or registry eligible)
- Current BLS certification
- Demonstrates proficiency in maintaining daily schedules and communicates professionally with medical staff, while prioritizing patient care needs based on clinical expertise.
Job Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Performs procedures in compliance with North Carolina Radiation Regulations, maintaining education and credentials.
- Coordinates activities with others to achieve work objectives.
- Ensures emergency equipment is ready, responding to potential crises appropriately.
- Maintains expertise in job-related procedures, equipment, and systems, ensuring equipment and supplies are available.
- Ensures precise patient records through data entry and image management.
- Provides instruction and consultation to enhance patient care quality.
- Offers emergency on-call coverage outside regular hours when needed.
- Provides care in line with age-specific guidelines for patients.
- Adheres to hospital standards, fosters teamwork through communication and relationships, follows policies and procedures, and contributes to service quality.
