Atrium Health is seeking an Experienced GI Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for the Rock Hill, SC location. Rock Hill is one of the fastest growing towns in the country, conveniently located about 30 minutes from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Uptown Charlotte.

Job details:

  • 100% Adult medicine
  • Full-time clinic position, Monday – Friday onsite 8 am –4:30 pm. ½ day of administrative time. 14 patients daily
  • No after-hours call needed
  • The GI APP will also aid with insertion in the hospital, change, and removal of percutaneous gastrostomy feeding tubes in the clinic.
  • Perform outpatient consultations and provide medical management and medications for adult patients over 18 with acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases.
  • Cover one holiday annually in the hospital
  • Hospital responsibilities also include performing hospital consultations, daily rounds with progress notes, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, and patient/family education and counseling annually.

Who you are:

  • Experienced APP with at least 2 years in Gastroenterology or experience working with patients with chronic health conditions.
  • Nurse Practitioner – Master’s Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice needed. License to practice as a Registered Nurse needed. Certification in practice from a nationally recognized certifying body is needed. Acute Care board certification is optional based upon population and acuity served.
  • Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program needed, Master’s Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.

  • Prioritize and make proactive decisions.
  • Flexible with work schedule and patient census
  • Work autonomously in an office setting
