Overview
Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Lab Supervisor and other Medical Technologists in the assigned area. Performs a variety of laboratory examinations and tests assuring rapid and accurate results.
Education: Must be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate. Associate degree required in Applied Sciences. MLT (ASCP) registry or equivalent as determined by the Professional Director.
Experience: No experience necessary.
Certification/License/Registration: Registration as MLT (ASCP), RCT, MLT (AMT), CLT (NCA). All newly hired technical staff must pass an approved certification exam within five (5) months of placement in this occupational classification.
