Join Our Team at Atrium Health Levine Children's: Pediatric Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Practitioner

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Atrium Health Levine Children's is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our team in Concord, NC, located at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

Position Overview:

• Location: Concord, NC
• Role: Full-time Advanced Practice Practitioner (1.0 FTE)
• Responsibilities: Primarily outpatient clinic at the Pediatric Pavilion with occasional inpatient duties at Jeff Gordon Children’s Center, both located on the Atrium Health Cabarrus campus.
• Clinical Focus: Provide outpatient care for pediatric patients with gastrointestinal complaints and chronic gastrointestinal disorders. In addition, provide initial consultations and ongoing care for pediatric patients requiring GI expertise during hospitalization. Collaborate closely with the Pediatric Hospitalist team for comprehensive patient management.
• Support Team: Work alongside a dedicated team including a dietician, social worker, and nursing/support staff.
• Mentorship: Receive mentorship from three experienced on-site physicians in Concord and join a larger group of 14 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers across both our Concord and Charlotte campuses.
• Facility: The practice in Concord, NC is part of the larger Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology based out of the Levine Children's Specialty Center on the campus of Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC.  We have multiple satellite offices throughout the greater Charlotte region. The Jeff Gordon Children’s Center is affiliated with Levine Children’s Hospital and is staffed by shared providers. 
• Recognition: Our division has consistently ranked in the US News & World Report top 25 programs nationally for the past 3 years, providing comprehensive services for all pediatric digestive conditions. Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) was ranked as one of the top Children’s Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report in eight specialties for 2023 - 2024 and is the most comprehensive children’s hospital between Atlanta and Washington, DC. 
• Work-Life Balance: This position has no nighttime call or weekend responsibilities.
• Professional Development: Opportunities for involvement in clinical research and quality improvement projects. Participation in division meetings and QI (Quality Improvement) projects is expected.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Certification in both inpatient and outpatient care is required.
• Skills: Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. An interest in caring for children with pediatric gastrointestinal conditions.
• Passion: A passion for patient education and a desire to work collaboratively and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
