Radiology and Mammography Technologist, Downtown Health Plaza

Overview

Credentialed Radiologic Technologist/Mammography Technologist needed to perform diagnostic radiology and mammography, weekdays for Downtown Health Plaza in Winston-Salem, NC.

Job details: 

Performs diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures by utilizing equipment and employing techniques and procedures that are appropriate to the entire span of ages served in accordance with accepted standards of practice, and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team. 

• Full time, 40 hours per week, working 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
• Location is Downtown Health Plaza in Winston-Salem, NC.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology 
• Registered and certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Mammography or registry eligible 
• Current BLS certification 

Skills needed: 

• Ability to maintain daily schedules 
• Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff when discussing procedures and patient's care 
• Clinical skills to enable recognition and function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
