Overview

12-week temporary opportunity for experienced Special Procedures Technologists to earn premium rate at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• Temporary position working 4,10-hour days per week; with call and rotating weekdays and weekends. 
• Hours: 7am-5:30pm
• Location: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Winston Campus
• Premium hourly rate of $65 per hour

JOB SUMMARY: 

Assists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic minimally invasive percutaneous procedures by utilizing radiographic and other imaging equipment. Employs techniques and procedures that are age appropriate, in accordance with, the accepted standards of practice while demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation and laser exposure to patients and other members of the health care team. Will be working with Level I trauma and stroke.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology program 
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required. 
• BLS CPR certification required. 
• Experience in level I trauma and stroke work needed.
