The Section of Oncology Palliative Medicine at Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) within Atrium Health is currently seeking a board-certified Palliative Medicine Physician to join their team with 7 BC Physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers in The Center for Supportive Oncology in Charlotte, NC.

• Large, new, state-of-the-art ambulatory facility includes a dedicated palliative infusion suite
• Tenured multidisciplinary team including RNs, CAs, APPs, SWs, & PharmD
• Several clinic locations across the greater Charlotte area
• Established Rapid Access Service
• Weekly Interdisciplinary Team Meetings

• Board-Eligible in Hospice/Palliative Medicine 
• Experience in Oncology 
• Experience across outpatient and inpatient settings
• Ability to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and PAs)
• Appreciation of the team-based approach to co-managing patients 

• Led by our Chair, Dr. Declan Walsh, an internationally renowned physician, educator, researcher, & administrator
• Fully integrated into LCI with strong referral streams and access to LCI/Atrium Health resources  
• Weekly Supportive Oncology Grand Rounds and Research Meetings
• Excellent collaboration and access to the established Sections of Oncology Nutrition, PsychoOncology, Cancer Rehabilitation, Cancer Navigation, Senior Oncology, Integrative Oncology, and Cancer Survivorship
• Great collegiality within the practice and support among other specialists and administration
