Rutherford Internal Medicine Associates (RIMA) located is in western North Carolina is seeking a BC Internal Medicine physician to join their multi-specialty group that currently consists of 3 Physicians and 6 APP’s. This group is the only Internal Medicine group in Rutherfordton County with specialists (GI and Pulmonary).

This employed position offers:

• Outpatient Only with average of 18 patients per day
• Office hours are Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with ½ day off per week for administrative time.
• Flexible ramp up patient schedule to get new providers up to speed
• Competitive salary based on national benchmarks with incentives for practicing in a rural setting and retention packages
• On-site lab, DEXA, procedure suite and x-ray 
  • Procedures optional
• Shared call is telephone only; split between all providers
• Opportunity to supervise mid-levels and medical students
• Charlotte , Asheville, and Greenville/Spartanburg  are within one hour of Forest City
