Job Summary: Assists guests at the Guest Services Center, providing information and promoting a positive image of the Medical Center.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent with three years of work experience. Preference given to those with university-level courses in communications, psychology, or related areas.

Essential Functions:

  1. Solves problems and provides information to both internal and external requestors.
  2. Gives directions to Medical Center visitors.
  3. Provides information about Medical Center policies and procedures.
  4. Uses computer system to retrieve requested information.
  5. Performs other related duties as needed.


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with Medical Center layout and services offered

Work Environment: Clean, comfortable, well-lit environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Involves standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, finger and hand dexterity, talking, hearing, and seeing.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 100 lbs.
