Overview

The Wake Forest Health Network OB/GYN – Asheboro practice is seeking a compassionate and skilled OB/GYN Physician to join our well-established practice in Asheboro, North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive women’s healthcare in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Our practice offers a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, minimally invasive surgery, and routine well-woman care. With access to advanced technology, a collaborative team, and a diverse patient population, this role provides the perfect balance of professional growth and work-life balance. Whether you're an experienced provider or a recent graduate, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of women in the community.

Highlights:

  • Only OBGYN practice in the county with 850+ deliveries per year.
  • Enjoy Friday afternoon off! Practice hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. 
  • Call 1:6 shared amongst providers.
  • The practice offers special surgical procedures such as: laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometrial ablation, slings, LEEP, and in office hysteroscopy and pelvic laparoscopy.
  • Procedures are done in the office at Central Piedmont Surgery Center and Randolph Hospital.

Physician Requirements: 

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
  • Successful completion of residency and at an accredited healthcare institution. 
  • Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from said residency. 
  • Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required. 
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
