Our Neurological Specialists work together to provide wide-ranging, seamlessly connected neurological care. We are seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to join the outpatient Neurology team at Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute Neurology in Rock Hill. 

We have an amazing opportunity for a Neurology APP to provide general neurology care with an emphasis on headache in an outpatient well-supported collaborative environment.  Full-time opportunity with flexibility for either 4 or 5 days per week schedule.   

Position Details:

• Prior APP experience is required. Neurology experience is preferred.
• Provide care for general neurology patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Heavy focus on headache and migraine treatment and management.
• Desirable schedule Monday-Friday with option of 4-day work week.
• 12-15 patients per day (consults, hospital follow-ups, and routine follow-ups) 
• No call or weekends.

Essential Functions:

• Performs physical examinations, assessments, and develops appropriate plan of care. 
• Writes appropriate prescriptions and administers medications.
• Orders and interprets daily laboratory and radiology examinations. 
• Documents all patient encounters, records observations, interventions, and actions in a medically appropriate manner on the patient's medical record. 
• Attends, participates, and contributes to group/practice meetings and development of standard procedures for department.
