Overview
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general direction, provides administrative support to Annual Funds development program. Supports policies and programs associated with public relations, communications, and special events.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Associate's degree with three years of relevant experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Designs, initiates, and implements solicitation, cultivation and stewardship projects for annual funds prospects and donors, such as scholarship funds, leadership giving society, and thank-a-thons.
- Promotes and oversees the management of Annual Funds giving programs, including regular coordination with Gift Processing and Donor Relations to ensure a consistent giving experience for Annual Funds donors.
- Coordinates across relevant units platform leaders, communications and marketing, events, campus departments, etc. to ensure strategic internal participation in Annual Funds programs.
- Researches internal and external sources and creates PowerPoint presentations, forms, brochures, e-communications and other materials for annual funds projects.
- Creates reports and analysis of complex data for the solicitation and stewardship of donors and patients.
- Works with the Director, manages the Annual Funds budget and expenses to ensure program expenses are within budget.
- Prepares and analyzes monthly reports to measure the acquisition and retention performance of solicitation, cultivation and stewardship projects and activities, including the strategic identification of lapsed donors and alumni for Special Gifts Officers to contact for visits and solicitation.
- Responds to inquiries from donors and gift processing regarding concerns and issues about pledges, payments and acknowledgments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrates expertise with Microsoft software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills, engaging personality, comfortable engaging people face-to-face, on the phone, and in writing
