Overview
Performs duties that supports the efficient workflow of the laboratory. Sets the standard for the department regarding following standards, maintaining regulatory requirements, and modeling expected behaviors within the department. Duties include obtaining patient specimens via venipuncture or micro method
Education: Must be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate. Completion of approved phlebotomy training course, or 6 months phlebotomy experience in hospital or other patient care setting
Certification / License: Certification as a phlebotomist by one of the following approved certifying agencies: AMT, ASCP, ASPT, or NPA. Must have a state of Georgia drivers license
