Specialty Pharmacy Liaison - Full time

Overview

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Reimbursement Coordinator acts as liaison between the Atrium Health Navicent specialty pharmacy and physician practices.

Essential Functions:

Communicate the patient benefits of the Atrium Health Navicent Specialty Pharmacy program to providers through in-person and virtual means.

Interface with provider offices to obtain documentation for specialty pharmacy needs.

Field provider questions regarding the specialty pharmacy process.

Assist with processing third party specialty prior authorization requests as needed.

Assist patients with issues related to insurance benefits, authorizations and billing.

Education, Experience, and Training:

Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of related experience.

Three (3) years experience in business, healthcare, insurance, financial, customer service or related field.

Sales experience is preferred.

Pharmacy Technician certification required within one (1) year of accepting position.
